Another Deep Dusk

Deep Dusk, 12 x 12 inches, encaustic on wood
sold

Sky over Ocean

This is 20 x 30 inches, acrylic on paper. Its based on a small painting I did about 7 years ago. In August a patron was in my studio and when she saw the small painting (without ocean), she asked me to make a larger version with ocean underneath. It was interesting to try to copy a previous work as my brushwork has completely changed...a good challenge.

Cosmos

sold, Cosmos, 9 x 12 inches, encaustic on wood

I've been asked by people to do more and more florals so more are on the way.

St Croix at Dusk, 10 x 2o inches, acrylic sold

I spent June at a residency on the St. Croix river about 15 miles north of Stillwater, MN. These paintings were done from the bluff overlooking the river or on the river itself. These have sold but if you are interested in commissioning me for something similar, please contact me at bethany.kalk@gmail.com

Thanks for checking the new blog

I've been spending so much time painting landscapes that I decided to have a separate blog for landscapes and other paintings that are slightly more commercial. I usually have these kinds of works at Gallery 360 in Minneapolis.

If you are interested in commissioning me for murals, landscapes, abstracts, or portraits, please visit my site.
